Build: Quadrocopter
The Quadrocopter has 4 Engines. It is the most inexpensive and lightweight way for building a multicopter.
For building a quadrocopter, the engines need to be mounted as shown at the right.
- 1= Front (Clockwise)
- 2= Left (Counter-Clockwise)
- 3= Rear (Clockwise)
- 4= Right (Counter-Clockwise)
The white arrow on the control board must point to engine 1 (Front). It can be flown in "+" (engine 1 is front) or "X" formation (front is between engine 1 and 4).

PROS AND CONS
- Cost effective
- Lightweight for sportive flying and aerobatics
- Simple to build (suitable for beginners)
- Failure of one engine leads to crash (no redundancy)
- Mounting a camera is not always easily possible
